Dr Zigs’ bubble factory is based in Bangor and it proudly manufactures all of its products in Wales and uses naturally sourced materials wherever possible. However, Europe is also a big part of the business, so Paola has been busy preparing for the UK transition.

All our Wands are made of FSC certified wood - which means that it has been sustainably sourced (Very cool!) - and all our Bubble Ropes are made of 100% natural untreated cotton (Increadibubble!). We produce our own Dr Zigs Bubble Mix in the valleys of Snowdonia (North Wales) to a secret recipe containing 97% of distilled Welsh sea water with a little bit of added love, magic, and a trace of Welsh dragon essence. Our mixes are guaranteed phosphate and palm oil free and we work hard to reduce surfactants (not so good for the environment) whilst increasing performance. We made a video for a presentation that I had promised a company three days ago; we tested new mix; I had news that a parcel of Bubbles heading into Ukraine, to Bucha, reached the first leg of it’s journey. We also had a great meeting with Goodwill (UK peeps look them up - they’re incredible) in Illinois. Hopefully an exciting collaboration in the works. It does frustrate me how much this eviction is taking me from my day to day stuff, but hey, at least there IS good stuff still happening. What we do at Dr Zigs essentially is all about love. There is simply no way we can shut shop, move, and continue to work in a two week window - we don’t even know where we’re going.
